random summer musings

Sorry I haven't been around. I've been busy with the new job and tired most of the time, and now I'm sick, which is no fun.

One of the reasons I don't like summer, since I'm apparently one of the 1 in 10 people mosquitos prefer...
50 smartest things to do with your money, since now that I've been here at work for two years I can join the retirement fund, which requires investing (eek!). Makes me a little sad to think about the future like this...it's scary, too, since it seems like you have to plan for so far in advance, and I'm not all that good at that...anyone have investing advice? lol.

I haven't been writing Novare like I should be. My mom keeps asking when it will be finished. At least Arthur has met the current king, so I've advanced the story somewhat, but an awful lot of it has been written between midnight and 2 am, so I dearly hope that it has some coherence. Anyone want to beta for me? How many of you actually even know what I'm talking about? lol. Maybe Ash and I can finally find time to meet up this weekend and write our hearts out. Yeah.
