I'm here. Just...not here. Been busy. But you can all breathe a sigh of relief...I not only have a job to go to next week, I have a roommate for next year! Well, six months, anyway, I hope *cross your fingers* so there is great load off my chest. Yay.

Anyway, I have little tidbits of goodness to share with you all.

First, ladyjaida is not only the talented cowriter of shoebox_project but a pretty hilarious person in her own right, especially when talking about Star Wars, vis-a-vis here...

Second, the aforementioned Shoebox has been updated. Though any of you out there who didn't know that, surely you aren't as obsessed with a verging-on-slashy fanfic like I am. Sigh. Guilty pleasure, I suppose.

Thirdly, I had an epiphany the other day with my NaNo story, so I no longer have to worry about killing the king. Now to finish it. All is well with the world. Well, if I could getNovare written, that is. Oy. JaNoWriMo, anyone?

Fourth, I went to a renaissance festival today. Yahoo! Didn't get to dress, but that's ok. I wore my hat. My spiffy Musketeer hat. Even if it didn't match my sneakers. I want some renboots. And when the Kansas City ren fest rolls around this year I will finally be old enough to rent a car with no restrictions and I am so driving out there. The new roommate says she's up for travel, so, yay.

That is, in fact, another reason I wanted one. Admittedly there was the crush on Chris O'Donnell when he played D'Artagnan in Disney's The Three Musketeers, but you know, when Jack Sparrow said, "Nice hat," I was like, yes, exactly! I even have two feathers in it, though not quite so big that I would hit anyone with them...

hah, poncy Will. Can't wait to see him nance about more in PotC 2.
