After the tempest

etoilineIt rained really hard here on Wednesday and Friday. The bigger deal was the freaky windstorms we had. I'm okay, but it's kind of amazing to drive through town and see all the trees that were blown down. Anyway, some links for you:

There's a new movie coming out this fall called The Fountain. It stars Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz, two actors that I never would have paired, but looks like it could be interesting. Check out the trailer here. If that doesn't give you a mind trip, I don't know what will. I think the director is the guy who did Requiem for a Dream, a movie I haven't seen but I know it has good music, courtesy of the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers trailer.
Hope those of you in the Midwest with me have power. Luckily it never went out at the apartment but for just a second (long enough to have to reset all the clocks, of course) but my parents were out for a couple of days. Oddly enough, and unfortunately, the buildings across the street from my place still don't have power after four days. May God bless you and keep your power on.
