Something else from canarynoir, because I really need to look at my friends list more often. I keep saying that, don't I? It's aimed at her, but if you want me to talk specifics about you, leave a comment and I'll get personal.


1. Do you have a tattoo? Nay. I'd want something pretty that I could see, but others couldn't, which rules out a lot of places, and I keep thinking 'what happens when you're 80 and saggy?'
2. How old are you? 27. My favorite number.
3. Are you single or taken? Regrettably single, still.
4. Fish? Not as a verb. Sometimes I will use it as a noun.
5. Do you dream in color? Yes. I once had a "book trailer" dream where my unfinished novel not only had a great plot and gonzo special effects, it had an ending. Unfortunately I couldn't remember the ending when I woke up.
6. Do you have any recurring dreams? Nope.
7. How about them hipsters? The jeans or the people? I'm neutral on both, I suppose.
8. How did we meet? Archon/Carol Berg love.
9. What's your philosophy on life and death? Live, learn, life, love, die, dust, gone. (Fire on the Mountain, Hanson)
10. If you could do anything with me, what would it be? Write a book! Alternately, engage in wonderful conversation with Carol Berg--oh, wait, we've done that. Talk about writing? Critique each other? Hmm. Must think of something not writing related...
11. What's your favorite guilty pleasure? Reading a get-lost-in-it fantasy.
12. Do you like musicals? Yes!
13. What is your fondest memory of me? Yuks at Archon.
14. If you could change anything about yourself what would it be? I would procrastinate less. If there was a way to control my reading so I did it at the right time, that might be it.
15. If you could close your eyes and be transported anywhere in the world, where would it be? Paris.
16. What are you wearing? A John Mayer tee and pj shorts.
17. Have you ever gone swimming after dark? I think so...
18. Have you ever sung in public? Yes. Call me crazy, I'd like to do it again.
19. If we had one day to hang out together, what would we do? Didn't we already do this in Chicago? lol. Let's do it again!
20. Which do you prefer - short or long hair? Longer is usually better.
21. What's your favorite day of the week? Usually tuesdays, unless I have to get up early. Tuesdays are writing group nights :)
22. What's your favorite color? Forest green.
23. What's your favorite period in history? The Middle Ages
24. Tell me one interesting/odd fact about you? I can wiggle my ears.
25. How many pets do you have right now? None, unless you count my roommate's cat.
26. What was your first impression of me? Red-haired fellow Jen!

btw, I have a cell phone now. Send me an email and I will give you the number. However, since it is a prepaid phone and costs money every time I turn it on, you will most likely get voice mail. Which I check every day, so worry not your pretty head that I won't get your message.
